Use the plastic cone mould to make a cone shaped structure out of the dhoop powder, by filling it lightly in the mould. Invert the cone gently on the tray and light the tip of the cone.
Alternatively, it can be poured over burning charcoal also.
Or you can put a spoonful of dasangam powder directly in the hawan kund.
